Questions
What is CU Snacks?
CU Snacks is late-night snack food delivery service catering to students of Columbia and Barnard, as well as local residents and faculty between 111th street and 121st street. We offer an assortment of snacks from chips to candy, to drinks (Coke, Snapple, Nantucket Nectars, others), to prepared goods such as fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, grilled cheese, and milkshakes, as well as many convenience items that you can find on our menu. Speaking of convenience, as students ourselves, we are able to deliver straight to your door.
» Back to QuestionsMy credit card is not being accepted. What is the problem?
CU Snacks does not directly deal with your financial transactions with Columbia. If your card is not accepted for some reason, there is little we can do. A common issue is that Columbia's payment system does not accept international credit/bank cards. Also make sure you've inputted the expiration date or credit card ID number correctly as this is a common mistake for hungry customers to rush through.

My munch money has not been added yet even though I just
purchased it.
When your credit card gets charged successfully, CU Snacks is notified via e-mail of your transaction and the current night manager must input your munch money manually. Because the night manager may be busy taking another order at that time, it may take several minutes to add your munch money. If you're not sure that your transaction went through correctly, feel free to call us at 212-853-FOOD (3663) and we will check it out for you.

My order still hasn't arrived. What's going on?
All orders are delivered by our delivery people on a first-come, first-serve basis. While our delivery times will generally not exceed 15 minutes, busy snacking nights at Columbia will sometimes add some more time, as does having to prepare foods that you order, such as chocolate chip cookies which take 15-20 minutes extra to bake. But fear not, if an order is taking a longer than expected time to arrive, rest assured that CU Snacks is on its way!

Can I request a specific delivery person?
Sure thing! We love delivering to our friends, so feel free to humorously make a request in the delivery comments.

Are there jobs available?
Yes! Click on the jobs links to download an application for employment. CU Snacks is entirely run by students, so we consider it less a job and more a student club where you get paid. We are always looking for more people to join up, so check it out if it so interests you.
